The program is designed with an aim to ensure that students learn the basics of computer science and engineering and are thoroughly trained to become successful professionals in artificial intelligence domains. 
The program is designed to serve the following objectives.

  • Become familiar with several powerful search techniques for automatically solving complex  problem
  • Develop sufficient expertise in both the theory of machine learning and its application to data mining, so as to use these powerful techniques in a wide range of industrial contexts, for example bioinformatics, electronic commerce and finance

Entry requirements:

The applicant should have passed the 10+2 or equivalent examination with Physics, Mathematics, and English as compulsory subjects along with Computer or Chemistry or Biotechnology or Biology or any technical vocational subjects as optional with a minimum of 60% marks (55% in case of SC/ST) taken together in Physics, Mathematics and any one of the optional subjects
