Automobile Engineering course is the investigation and study of manufacturing, designing and operating automobiles such as trucks, buses, cars etc. and their particular engineering subsystems. Automobile Engineering course additionally offers specialization in alternative fuels, aerodynamics, chassis, emissions, electronics, ergonomics, materials, manufacturing, motorsport, rapid prototyping, vehicle, power train and pedestrian safety or supply chain management. It also includes modification of vehicles. Manufacturing domain deals with the creation and assembling the whole parts of automobiles is also included in it. The automotive engineering field is research -intensive and involves direct application of mathematical models and formulas. The study of automotive engineering is to design, develop, fabricate, and test vehicles or vehicle components from the concept stage to production stage. Production, development, and manufacturing are the three major functions in this field.

Department of Automobile Engineering has experienced faculty and enthusiastic students who  have achieved prize in BAJA – 2014, 1st prize in ATV Championship 1.0 in GTU. Runner‘s up in ATV Championship 2.0 and participated in Supra SAE INDIA.
