As A Student, What You Must Know About Colleges Reopening After The COVID-19 Pandemic

With the introduction of the vaccine and a general increase in the immunity of the community as a whole, it may soon be expected that colleges and educational institutions will open at full potential soon. Since the risk of infection from COVID-19 is likely to not reduce for a long time to come, even reopening colleges will not seem like how it used to be before. Once they do open the gates of colleges, students will begin to slowly realise what exactly is different.

As an educational institution with a large number of students, Swarrnim Startup and Innovation University realises its responsibility towards everyone who is associated with us. To make sure that our students and teachers all know what to expect from the university after it reopens, here is a short overview of everything they must know beforehand.

It has become common knowledge in the world that virus in droplets ejected from the mouth or nose cannot travel beyond 6 ft, and that is why it has become the new normal. Expect this to be the case after colleges reopen as well, be it in conversations, classes, or labs.

Wearing masks, sanitising and washing hands properly on a regular basis may need some getting used to in the beginning, but it is better to be safe than being sorry later. This is something that you will have to take on your own to make a habit of because it is for your own safety.
  • Interacting
The way you have been interacting with people normally has now become a thing of the past. Interactions between people, including your batchmates, other students, teachers, and other members of the staff will change post-COVID. Group learning, collaborative study sessions, and mixed lab sessions will never be the same and you must be prepared to see them change.
  • Identify and Report Potential Cases
Even a single incident of infection can cause a lot of damage. Isn
