Women Development Cell
The Women Development Cell (WDC) at Swarrnim Startup and Innovation University is a proactive body working towards the holistic development of women students, faculty, and staff. We aim to cultivate a safe, respectful, and empowering campus environment that fosters growth, equality, and leadership opportunities for women.
WDC serves as a support system and a platform to encourage participation of women in innovation, entrepreneurship, academics, and administration. We are committed to bridging gender gaps and ensuring inclusivity at every level.

Core Functions of WDC
- Conduct gender sensitization workshops for students and staff
- Host lectures and seminars with successful women entrepreneurs and leaders
- Promote networking among women across disciplines for mutual support and mentorship
- Promote safe campus practices and awareness drives
- Facilitate mental health support

Mission
- To provide and foster a dignified, congenial working environment for women employees (including teaching, non-teaching, and contractual workers) and students, where they can realize their potential to the fullest.
- To make women aware of their social and legal rights and thus empower them to stand against any discrimination.
- Support women-led startups and business ideas with mentorship and incubation opportunities.
- To develop personality and incubate leadership quality in women leading to a fulfilling life.
- Conduct events, workshops, and training programs focused on women's empowerment and leadership.
- To cooperate and collaborate with organizations with similar goals and activities.
- To act as a forum for information sharing and exchange of ideas.
